Responsibilities:
Looking for a Computing DevSecOps Engineer to join the team
- The program oversees the strategy, processes, people, investments, and the development of a broad portfolio of digital and analytic tools sitting on common cloud-based platforms
- These tools provide customers with a variety of capabilities to help them optimize their programs and maximize their mission success
- Examples of capabilities include but are not limited to, predictive maintenance solutions, supply chain optimization solutions utilizing advanced demand forecasting, and real-time decision support models to optimize the troubleshooting of complex systems
- As part of the Mission Accelerator program, the technical development team applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, integrate, and deploy cutting-edge digital and analytics capabilities, tools, and processes for our customers
- This team defines and controls the technical strategy, executes multiple complex statements of work, and coordinates with a variety of resources required over the life of the project
- This team is defining the future of digital and analytics capabilities for our customers.
- As part of this program, you'll work with a wide range of cutting-edge software technologies as well as the latest data science solutions
- That includes internal development activities as well as partnering with other industry leaders to bring the best-of-breed solutions to customers.
- A successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and must be efficient in working both independently and across dynamic development organizations
- The position will be responsible for implementing software containerization architecture and components utilizing cloud stack technologies.
- The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with project managers, development teams, and customers
- The candidate will engage frequently and work closely with the Mission Accelerator architects and project managers
- The candidate will be responsible for supporting a variety of application capabilities with a direct impact on users and customers
- The candidate will be responsible for incorporating architecture functions into the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and implement systems architecture designs, patterns, and approaches.
- Demonstrate experience working with Private and/or Public clouds like AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Demonstrate experience with containerization using technologies like Docker, Maven, Spring Boot, Helm, Ansible, and Terraform.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Experience with tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, and Argo CD.
- Familiarity with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem to include (Spring Cloud Config Server and Spring Cloud Service Discovery/Eureka/Zuul).
- Willingness to learn new skills and collaborate with a diverse technical team.
- Experience working with Linux (RHEL/ATOMIC/UBI, CentOS preferred).
- Experience and command/shell of scripting such as Bash, Python, Node
- This position allows telecommuting
The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite 2 days per week.
